Well, I saw this movie some time ago when he was still in theaters. The other children I have seen with agree with me at the time the film was a sort of weird and we should not have left our parents to choose the film we saw in Cineplex.Alors now Tale Christmas has a certain nostalgia / retro thing going on, and we get all these rave reviews. Here’s why I do not quite understand: First, we obtained that godawful “Kevin Arnold” voice-off of the main character. Write Somebody Hollywood and tell them to give this story “technique rest. Most other characters are “largely” played, so you’re never sure if we’re watching a slice of life film or farce.Armes to BBs are loved by many young people of my generation but we all knew they could hurt us (and others), and concerns about injuries were real and not something you try to play for fun in general. “Put your eye.” What a knee slapper! When they realize how strange and the film is humorless, they say nothing. There are probably very few “repeat” the tenants, but each Christmas season, few people take the same chance. I think this DVD should not be a part of Christmas, it should perhaps be shown on Halloween. I understand that this is how a man remembers his childhood, but I want my husband’s family had never shown this film to my children. They are not permanently damaged by this movie but it must be labeled as twisted. Rating: 1 / 5

Bob Clark, “A Christmas Story” is a cinematic slice of Americana. She recounts a time long past when a BB gun was the current dream of all young children and saying the word wrong would be to organize a meeting between your mouth and a bar of soap. Young Ralphie Parker (Peter Billingsley) yearns for a Daisy Red Ryder 200-shot carbine action BB Gun and does not hide that he wants one for Christmas. However, each town northern Indiana warns that he will turn his eyes if his wish is granted. Ralphie stubbornly refuses to waver and she hoped against hope that his wish will be granted when navigating around the problems in his life – a bully from school, a brother who has exceeded his snowsuit, an aunt who thinks he is a daughter, a visit to Santa Claus dangerous department store, a tongue stuck to a frozen lamppost and a decoder ring to decode a message without interest. There’s really nothing that distinguishes “A Christmas Story” from your run-of-the-mill seasonal production made for television Christmas. The feeling of nostalgia that the film generates is basically his only notable aspect. The jokes are common and the characters are typical of generic actions that you would find in a modern Christmas story. Darren McGavin and Melinda Dillon are fun as parents and Ralphie Billingsley had a short spell as young Ralphie, but the performance is not special enough to elevate the material. “A Christmas Story” did a splendid job of recreating a certain place and time. However, it does not do much more than that. In the area features large screen Christmas “A Christmas Story” location somewhere in the middle of the pack. Rating: 2 / 5

I gave this star, because there is no “0″ rating. Many people encouraged me to watch this. . . . . . . this. . . . . . thing, so last year I tried. I wondered why everyone loved him so much. It was absolutely horrible. I forced myself to finish the movie: 1) I had hoped it would get better and 2) everyone said it was grande.Si you have not seen, let me tell you this Not great. It is boring, stupid, immature and a big waste of time. Rating: 1 / 5

I just watched “A Christmas Story” and was very disturbed by it. It takes place in the 1940s (I think), but it’s not like “Miracle on 34th Street”, which was made in the 1940s. There is much violence in this film (hitting, hitting, slapping) and worst of all insults. The boy in the film is a fantasy to get a air rifle and kill crooks . In this era of armed violence is the last thing that children or adults need to see. I do not recommend this movie to anyone. And if this film is about Christmas, I certainly could not say .
